Peptic ulcer disease(PUD) is the mucosal damage to the wall of stomach (cause gastric ulcer) and duodenum (Duodenal ulcer). The causes of PUD can be due to H. Pylori (Helicobacter pylori), NSAID’s and other medical conditions. The H. Pylori is the gram negative bacteria which releases urease and that converts the urea into the nitrogen and causes the mucosa damage.
