Q.1 Solve the followings 10
(a) Construct a hexagon with length of the sides of 50mm.
(b) Divide a line AB of 80mm in to 6 equal in parts.

Q.2 A L-shaped solid project having length L= 40mm, width W = 20mm and height H= 10

30mm and thickness T= 10mm. Assuming that this object is lying in the first quadrant.
Draw its front view, top view and side view.

Q.2 Draw orthographic projection of a hexagonal plane of side 55mm, which is 15 mm away 10

from V.P., 20mm above H.P. and is inclined at 45⁰ to H.P. It is perpendicular to V.P.

Q.3 A line AB, 50 mm long, is inclined at 30⁰ to the H.P. and its top view makes an angle 10

of 60⁰ with the V.P. Draw its projections.

Q.3 A line AB, 70mm long, has its end A 15mm above HP and 20mm in front of VP. It is 10

inclined at 30° to HP and 45°to VP. Draw its projections.

Q1 Draft to any suitable scale a typical wall section through a 1 ½ brick thick load bearing

structure showing complete details from foundation, through window opening, to top of
parapet. Label and dimension all the parts clearly using the correct terminology.

Q2 Explain with the help of neatly drawn and labeled sketches, in plan section and elevation with

optional view, the design of a simple, single unit dwelling using any method of mud
construction with appropriate roof of your choice.

Q3 From your understanding of the different bonds, design a module for a simple compound wall

of length 4m and height 1.5m having appropriate pillars on both ends. The design should
feature some portion of open-jali brickwork. Draw plans of all types of different courses,
section and elevation in 1:10 scale. (08 marks)

Q4 Sketch in any suitable scale plan, section and elevation of a guard’s gate-house in any type of

Rubble masonry. The gate house must have minimum plinth, entrance door, window for
viewing and timber roof of your choice.
